WHY DO WE FEAR URBAN MALES?

When I say the word

urban

male,

What images come to mind?
Is it:

violence, African ,

blackness,

disorder,

anarchy,

misery,

death?

If these are some of the images which reflect your perception , then you are driven by some sort of fear. while in some cases our fears may be justified, it is important to seek our own truth, and to analyze why we feel the way we feel about this population. the next time you are confronted with this fear of urban males, ask your self, do i feel the same way about my brother, son, father, husband etc. ? If not why not. Adolph Hitler once said "If you say something long enough and loud enough , people will begin to believe your message". Could it be that our perception of urban males is based on what we have been taught rather than our personal interaction?

Consequently, when we at "The Process"LLC hear the term "urban male", the following are our positive fears and perception:

It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone and as we let their whole light shine, we will consciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
