WHY DO WE FEAR URBAN MALES?

When I say the word
urban
male,
What images come to mind?
Is it:
violence, African ,
blackness,
disorder,
anarchy,
misery,
death?
If these are some of the images which reflect your perception , then you are driven by some sort of fear. while in some cases our fears may be justified, it is important to seek our own truth, and to analyze why we feel the way we feel about this population. the next time you are confronted with this fear of urban males, ask your self, do i feel the same way about my brother, son, father, husband etc. ? If not why not. Adolph Hitler once said "If you say something long enough and loud enough , people will begin to believe your message". Could it be that our perception of urban males is based on what we have been taught rather than our personal interaction?

Consequently, when we at "The Process"LLC hear the term "urban male", the following are our positive fears and perception:

“Our deepest fear is not that they are inadequate; our deepest fear is that they are powerful beyond measure. It is their light, not their darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who are they to be brilliant, talented and fabulous? Actually who are they not to be? They are children of God; their playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. They were born to make manifest, the glory of God that is within them. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone and as we let their whole light shine, we will consciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

At the beginning of our academic process we are taught that the alphabet begins with the letter A and end with Z. I can remember singing the alphabet song. Do you remember this? I also remember feelings of worthlessness and being reprimanded by parents and teachers for reciting the alphabet out of sequence. I was conditioned to always go back to the beginning of the alphabet when I made an error in the sequence. I was also taught that Apple began with the letter A; Ball began with B and so on. Consequently an image for each letter was etched in my consciousness. While this sequential practice has worked well in my formal theoretical world, it has been somewhat incapacitating in reality. Finally, it has occurred to me that life can begin in or out of sequence. The key here is to not fixate on the sequence, but on life itself.
Therefore, as we begin our journey into excellence, we at "The Process LLC" , have chosen to begin our success alphabet with the letter "P", yes "P", not A . What does "P" stands for.............? People. Which People? Urban youths, specifically urban males, armed with both the academic theory and application of this theory to real life situations to realize their optimal capacity through excellence, service and success.

Remember life begins at your beginning.

Do you believe that we should train our future leaders to approach life in a sequential manner? Explain

The Process Begins

Every thing in life is a process. My journey in creating this business entity both nationally and internationally has been in and of itself an on going process. For this reason, I am excited about my business venture “The Process© LLC”, I am confident that as it grows, I will also continue to grow.
The Process© LLC is a program for urban youth excellence. The primary focus of this program is to mitigate the grim realities facing urban males. This program seeks to cultivate confidence, ingenuity, and entrepreneurship through a series of workshops which includes but are not limited to topics on, education, social economic status, globalization, culture, spirituality, and health.

This idea came to me through years of experience with this volurnerable population and my life duty to serve and contribute on a more significant level. The name The Process stands for:

People Realizing their Optimal Capacity through Excellence Success and Service.

If you also have the desire to contribute on a more significant level to” The Process© LLC”, our youths and our future, I look forward to your comments.

Until then let The Process begin.
